Steel Dapping Block, 18 Half Sphere, 2"

This heavy-duty steel dapping block features 18 half-sphere depressions ranging from 1/8 to 1 1/2 (4 to 35 mm) in diameter. Invaluable to beginning and seasoned jewelers alike, this tool will shape metal to a variety of dome sizes for pendants, bead caps, and more elaborate designs. Block can be used with metal dapping punches or a ball pein hammer.

In order to prevent rust, the dapping block is lightly coated with oil. Simply wipe down with a dry paper towel or rag before using. (Avoid wiping with anything wet - water will cause block to rust.)
